IMPORTANT INFORMATION

CA N'ANDREU TRULL MUSEUM

Going through the doors of Es Trull de Ca n'Andreu is like getting into the time machine and going back in Pitiusa history until the 18th century. This peculiar museum created in a renovated country house in Sant Carles is a pleasant experience that helps us familiarize ourselves with the life and daily work of the ancestors of the island. The trull (oil mill) to make oil dates from 1775 and is one of the few that are preserved in the Pitiüses. In this private museum all farm implements are preserved. There are various plows, mills of flour mills, machines for grinding corn, material to make wine and different measures to manufacture 'espardenyes'.

How to get?

From Sant Carlos, take the road to Cala Llenya and Cala Mastella, which leaves behind the church. 200 meters after leaving the town you will see a turnoff to the left that leads to the house.
